Our homegrown medlars picked when perfectly ripe then bletted to mature to ensure the medlar flavour shines through. If you’ve not tried before, we’d describe the flavour as being reminiscent of baked apples, dates, tamarind & honey.
We love this with cheese, roast pork, or stirred into sauces. 😋
